I've recently started messing around with flashes and I want to start using them off camera. I have a d50 and an old vivitar. It mounts to the top of the camera. I've heard of ebay slaves but also that they're not very reliable. What would you guys suggest?
I'm using ebay slaves right now, they are okay for just learning about off camera flashes. But i am upgrading to some alienbee cybersyncs real soon though, i have heard great things about them.
